The deadline for holiday nominations is December 1, 2026. Please complete Sentry's Giving Smiles Submissions form with the following information:
Name and address of the individual or family.
Number of adults and children in the household.
Estimated age range of each family member.
A brief explanation of why you are nominating this individual or family.
Nominations can also be mailed no later than November 25, 2026, to:

It’s time for our annual Fall Community Garage Sale!
Whether you’re looking to clear out unwanted items and make a little extra space or you’re searching for great bargains and hidden treasures, this is a wonderful opportunity to participate and connect with your neighbors.
🏡 For Sellers: Take advantage of the cooler fall weather to clean out your garage, closets, attic, and storage areas. Those items you no longer need may be just what another neighbor has been looking for!
🛍️ For Shoppers: Come out and explore the neighborhood—you never know what treasures you may find!

January 11, 2025 - After Hurricane Milton devastated the Sarasota area on October 9, 2024, the S-T-O-P sign at the intersection of Fraser Pine and Arolla Pine Boulevards was found bent from the storm at an almost 90 degree angle and lying near the ground. After 3 months of waiting for Sarasota County to repair it, volunteer residents took the initiative to perform temporary repairs, in order to minimize a perceived danger to the community.
Ironically, approximately a week after the above event, county workers arrived at the location and completed an "official" reinstallation of the sign.
